Amber and Luke - Engagement Session
If ever there were a serene, peaceful and uncrowded location for a wedding in the North Georgia mountains, R Ranch in Dahlonega, Georgia would be it. Hundreds and hundreds of acres of well-groomed rolling hills, beautiful lush green grass and trees were the setting for my engagement session with Amber and Luke.
R Ranch is a special place for Amber and Luke. Luke spent most of his childhood here. His mother and father served as president and hosted the rodeo every year. Luke worked at the R Ranch and maintained the stables.
Naturally, it would be the place where Luke would propose to Amber. How picturesque and sweet is this arbor where he proposed?
Amber is a special person to me because she's one of my former students. I've known her since she was a freshman in high school, and I've seen her grow from a young teenager to quite the beautiful young woman. I was happy to let Amber know that I approve of Luke and that she has my permission to marry him :)
Of course she doesn't need my permission to marry him. But I did find him to be very sweet, very polite and with good family values. He cares about his family and, apparently, gets along quite famously with Amber's dad. As much as he claims that he wasn't comfortable in front of the camera, all it took was being with Amber for him to show his vulnerable side.
Their wedding will be a mini-reunion for me to see some of Amber's family and friends that I haven't seen since she graduated. If I thought these two did a great job of sharing their love in front of the camera for this engagement session, I can't wait to see how beautiful they will be when they have their wedding.
